Character is one of the most fundamental parts of Barbara Bush Elementary. Mrs. Barbara Bush says, where we learn, grow, and achieve. Just remember, we do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Integrity is an important part of the trustworthy character trait. I will be able to use guidance lessons to inform your child of all six character traits. This in turn will help your child learn how to perform at 100% and be the best they can be.
The Six Pillars of Character:TRUSTWORTHY RESPECTFULRESPONSIBLE FAIR CARING and CITIZENSHIP. TRUSTWORTHINESS means you are honest, reliable, and loyal. RESPECTFULNESS means you treat others the way you want to be treated. RESPONSIBLNESS means you have self-control and you do what needs to be done. FAIRNESS means you listen and are open to different viewpoints.CARING means you are compassionate, kind, and charitable. CITIZENSHIP means you share, help your neighbors, and respect the law. Each six weeks our campus will focus on a character trait to remind the children to be the best they can be! |
