Dynamic Dolphins Choir
The Dynamic Dolphins from Barbara Bush Elementary School is made up of musically talented fourth, and fifth grade students. Membership is by audition only and the students must maintain a high level of academic excellence and citizenship.
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:25 - 4:05 p.m. in the Music Room. Choir members are required to have a blue folder with pockets in the sides. Music and pencils will be supplied for rehearsals by the music teacher.
Choir T-Shirts - Money and form need to be in by Thurs., Oct. 28. Cost is $7.00. Design by Bria Borunda, Roberto Torres & Mrs. Houston! Thanks for such a great design!

In past years, our Dynamic Dolphins have performed at Six Flags Holiday in the Park, Grand Prairie Holiday Festival, the Grand Prairie ISD Administrators' Luncheon, PTA programs, the Dallas Arboretum, and the Ballpark in Arlington. The group also had the honor of performing for Former First Lady Barbara Bush! At the Sandy Lake Choir Festival, the Dynamic Dolphins received four 1st Division trophies and the Outstanding Elementary Choir trophy for their superb performances!!!
This year the choir is directed by Mrs. Georgann Truitt Hughes, a graduate of Texas Christian University with both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education, All-Level Vocal certification, with 20 years teaching experience in grades K-12. This is Mrs. Hughes 2nd year with GPISD and Barbara Bush Elementary School and she is thrilled to be teaching such talented students!
